About the Role :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA professional to join our team as a Data Warehouse & ETL Testing Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of our data warehouse and ETL processes. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL testing methodologies, and SQL with a focus on Snowflake cloud technology.Responsibilities :- Participate in all phases of the testing life cycle for data warehouse and ETL projects, including requirement analysis, test case design, execution, defect logging, and reporting.- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure data integrity, accuracy, completeness, and transformation logic within the data warehouse and ETL processes.- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data within the data warehouse and source systems.- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms, specifically Snowflake.- Experience in testing reports and dashboards created with tools like Power BI (DAX knowledge a plus).- Experience with basic Unix commands for navigating and manipulating data on a Linux system (optional but preferred).- Participate in code reviews for data transformation logic within the ETL process(Optional)- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and continuously identify opportunities to enhance testing efficiency.Qualifications :- 4-6 years of experience in QA, ETL & DWH testing.- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, etc.).- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT testing projects.- Proven ability to write detailed test cases and effectively communicate testing results.- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data manipulation and validation.- Proficiency in Snowflake cloud-based data warehousing technology.- Experience working on cloud-based SQL databases (Snowflake or similar).
