Kantar's Worldpanel division is searching for a highly experienced and collaborative Legacy Apps Transformation Project Manager. Based in Lisbon, Portugal this is truly an incredible opportunity to be part of our exciting vision for the future!The Role's Mission :We are currently seeking an experienced and collaborative Legacy Apps Transformation Project Manager to join our global teams. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a comprehensive technical roadmap for the replacement of core legacy estate by identifying requirements, developing and executing strategic plans to retire it. This effort is critical for standardizing processing and data management, including existing data pipelines to support our Global client-facing platform.If you're willing to go beyond the obvious, using intelligence, passion, and creativity to inspire new thinking and shape the world we live in, apply for a career that'll be out of the ordinary and join us!Key Outcomes :- Identify the capabilities and functionalities needed to replace legacy platforms (joint work with Product and Regional tech teams).- Assess functionality gaps within strategic applications or the need to build new ones.- Write the requirements for new development or improvement of existing enterprise solutions.- Develop a detailed plan and roadmap, ensuring they align with the current strategic direction (work in partnership with Product, tech engineering, and tech regions teams).- Enforce standardization of approaches across the organization to benefit the Data Pipeline workstream and its goal of building a single global pipeline and platform.- Identify legacy applications, region-specific configurations, and resource gaps to enable targeted intervention and investment.- Collaborate with key stakeholders to secure the estate and provide value against the investment.- Ensure alignment of apps and data standards with the Data Pipeline strategic project to prevent divergence.Key Capabilities :Your background will ideally look like this :- University Degree (Bachelor's or Master's Degree) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent fields.- Business proficiency in English (B2 Level Minimum Required).- Minimum of 5-8 years of proven experience in Application Development and Project Management - experience working with legacy applications will be highly appreciated.- Strong understanding of data pipeline processes, global platforms, and legacy application management.- Familiarity with standardization approaches and best practices.- Experience working within Agile Methodologies (SCRUM/KANBAN Frameworks).With the following qualities :- Inquisitive, with critical thinking, and demonstrates a genuine passion for consumer behaviour.- Enjoys actively looking for new and more efficient ways of improving processes, raising standards, reducing errors, and overcoming omissions.- Is proactive, optimistic, and willing to get involved to achieve the team's goals and objectives.- Is highly collaborative and adaptable with the ability to work effectively within different cultural and technical environments.- Possesses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to comfortably connect with partners at all levels across the organization and facilitate discussions constructively.What Our Recruitment Process Looks Like :1st Stage - Screening interview with Talent Acquisition.2nd Stage - Technical interview with Senior Stakeholders.3rd Stage - Final Meeting with Hiring Manager.Join us!At Kantar, we have an integrated way of rewarding our people based on a simple, clear and consistent set of principles.
