Title : Platform Software EngineerLocation : Bangalore (Hybrid)Experience : 3+ yearsKey Responsibilities : 1. Backend Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain the backend services and APIs that power our platform.2. Cloud Integration: Utilize cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to architect, deploy, and manage scalable and cost-effective solutions.3. Microservices: Develop and maintain microservices architecture, including containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).4. Database Management: Design and optimize databases, both SQL and NoSQL, for data storage and retrieval, ensuring data consistency and performance.5. Scalability: Implement auto-scaling and load balancing strategies to handle increased traffic and demand efficiently.6. Security: Implement security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms, to protect sensitive data and ensure platform security.7. Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring high availability and performance.8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality solutions.9. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architecture, APIs, and deployment processes.10. Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize platform performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance user experience. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in backend development and cloud architecture.- Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for backend development (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and Kubernetes.- Experience of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).- Database expertise with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases.- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
