Job Summary :We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team in Mumbai, Powai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft .NET technologies, particularly in developing middle-tier applications, building libraries, and creating RESTful APIs and microservices. Experience with TDD, unit testing, and dependency injection is essential. Additional experience with Docker, containers, Kubernetes, and messaging systems will be advantageous.Role and Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain middle-tier applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.- Utilize .NET Core 3.0 and above for developing robust and scalable software solutions.- Build and maintain libraries and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end applications and other services.- Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, including writing unit tests and ensuring code quality through rigorous testing.- Apply dependency injection techniques to enhance the modularity and testability of the codebase.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.- Optional but beneficial : Work with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.- Optional but beneficial : Implement and manage messaging systems to facilitate communication between services.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.- 5+ years of experience in software development using Microsoft .NET technologies.- Strong experience with .NET Core 3.0 and above.- Proven experience in building middle-tier applications, libraries, and APIs.- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.- Proficiency in implementing TDD practices, including unit testing and dependency injection.- Familiarity with Docker, containers, and Kubernetes is a plus.- Experience with messaging systems is beneficial.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Skills :- Microsoft .NET Technologies (C#, .NET)- .NET Core 3.0 and above- Middle-Tier Development- Library and API Development- RESTful APIs- Microservices- Test-Driven Development (TDD)- Unit Testing- Dependency Injection- Optional : Docker, Containers, Kubernetes- Optional : Messaging Systems (ref:hirist.tech)
