Salary : 16 - 25 LPABT's Enterprise Digital team is responsible for building integrated, scalable, and robust enterprise journeys. We are currently looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer with proven experience in designing, architecting, and implementing robust and durable solutions, especially in the cloud, preferably at scale.About the Role :You will be joining the brand-new Platforms team within Enterprise digital whose goal is to make life for the development teams in other parts of the business easier by providing a set of low friction, fully managed cloud capabilities and abstracting these complexities away from the developer - allowing them to focus on code and not infrastructure.As a lead member of the Platform team (as well as being one of the first!) you will have the ability to shape the direction that we take and have a hands-on role in the implementation of this solution.You will play a key role in reimagining productivity by shipping transformative services, tools and frameworks that serve diverse aspects of the enterprise by taking ownership of our DevOps strategy.Job Responsibilities :- Lead and take ownership of our Dev Ops capabilities within the team and provide solutions to problems that we are trying to solve- Nurture and grow a team of DevOps engineers as we scale up to deliver on an ambitious program of work- Design and implement patterns, services, tools, frameworks, APIs and capabilities across our Azure estate that accelerate developer productivity with a security conscious mindset.- Be a direct contributor to our CI/CD platform on Gitlab with a focus on removing barriers on the path to production- Be a proponent of automation, identifying opportunities for us to go faster, while keeping security and best practice in mind.- Manage stakeholders and carry out presentations on the work being carried outQualifications :- You will have hands-on experience taking requirements for infrastructure and designing, architecting and implementing reusable and robust solutions.- You will have extensive hands-on experience with AWS, including using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) to create patterns and tooling.- You will be experienced in at least one of the following programming languages (Typescript, JavaScript, Java, C#, Python. Typescript is preferable) and with software development in a "cloud-native" environment.- You will have a working knowledge of CI/CD tools - GitLab, Jenkins.- Ability to write comprehensive designs and ensure code has excellent documentation- Have had working hands-on experience of a broad range of AWS offerings: particularly focusing on their Compute, Management & Governance, Storage, Security; Identity & Compliance, Networking & Content Delivery, FinOps, Containers & Database products.- Awareness of Cloud Landing Zone concepts and the pros/cons/constraints- Experience with serverless architectures in the cloud- Strong communication and presentation skills (ref:hirist.tech)
