Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain large-scale complex backend web applications. - Rapidly learn and apply relevant new technologies. - Interact frequently with business and product stakeholders. - Work on the entire web application stack, including Web server hosting, RESTful communication, Message brokering, Backend application layer (service and domain layers), and Data layer for persistence or caching. - Participate in the agile software development cycle, including Design, Development, Code review, Unit and integration testing, and Release.Requirements: - You will be expected to contribute to design, code review, refactoring, and project management. - You will be exposed to Web application frameworks: Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Java Play, Vert. x, AIOHTTP, AWS Lambda. - Languages: Ruby, Java, Kotlin, Javascript, Python. - Data stores: PostgreSQL, Aerospike, Redis, Amazon Redshift. - Communication: HTTP, Amazon SQS, Sidekiq, Amazon SNS. - Server Management: Amazon ECS, Docker.
