About the job : Staff4Me is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and visually appealing WordPress solutions.Responsibilities :- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements- Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins- Optimize WordPress websites for performance, security, and SEO- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure compatibility across different devices and browsers- Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure the stability and functionality of WordPress websites- Perform WordPress updates, maintenance, and backups- Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices- Provide technical support and guidance to junior WordPress developersRequirements :- 5+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development- Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript- Knowledge of front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, jQuery)- Familiarity with database management and SQL- Experience with version control systems, such as Git- Understanding of web security best practices- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Excellent communication and teamwork skills (ref:hirist.tech)
