Responsibility : Project Planning & Setup : - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project resource requirements and contribute to the resource plan, particularly focusing on MuleSoft expertise.- Identify appropriate integration processes based on project requirements and the MuleSoft integration landscape.- Evaluate existing processes and advise on improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in MuleSoft integration.- Provide input into the creation of project plans, emphasizing MuleSoft integration timelines and milestones.- Contribute to defining hardware/software requirements specifically related to MuleSoft integration needs.- Understand the overall test strategy, assess the MuleSoft integration design, and identify any gaps in the test plans, providing recommendations for improvement.Requirement Gathering and Analysis : - Analyze functional and non-functional requirements, seeking clarifications to ensure a comprehensive understanding, especially regarding MuleSoft integration needs.- Define timeline estimates for MuleSoft integration tasks based on requirements complexity and the team's MuleSoft expertise.- Communicate MuleSoft integration estimates to supervisors for review and approval.- Assess the technical feasibility of MuleSoft integration requirements and provide input into their implementation.- Identify any gaps or additional requirements related to MuleSoft integration and communicate them to supervisors for further action.Design : - Lead the team in preparing technical specifications for MuleSoft integration and review them for accuracy and completeness.- Decompose baseline requirements into MuleSoft-specific business and functional requirements.- Develop high-level and low-level designs for MuleSoft integrations and seek supervisor approval.- Determine appropriate tools and technologies for MuleSoft integration projects and identify reusable MuleSoft components for customization.- Share MuleSoft integration designs with functional teams following supervisor review.Coding : - Guide the development team in coding MuleSoft integrations according to the approved design and MuleSoft best practices.- Ensure adherence to MuleSoft coding standards to maintain high-quality code.- Review developed MuleSoft code with supervisors for feedback and approval.- Address any feedback or required changes to MuleSoft code promptly.- Perform complex MuleSoft integrations and guide developers in creating and executing unit tests, fixing defects as needed.- Consolidate MuleSoft integration test results and provide updates to supervisors, recommending design changes if necessary based on challenges encountered.Key Technical Skills : - Proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule Runtime, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Exchange, and Anypoint API Manager.- Strong understanding of MuleSoft integration patterns and best practices for API-led connectivity.- Experience with designing and implementing MuleSoft integrations using various connectors (e.g. HTTP, Database, File, Salesforce).- Knowledge of MuleSoft development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.- Familiarity with API design standards and protocols, including REST, SOAP, RAML, and OpenAPI.- Expertise in troubleshooting and debugging MuleSoft applications, including performance tuning and optimization.- Proficient in Java programming language, as MuleSoft development often involves custom Java components and scripting.- Experience with version control systems like Git for managing MuleSoft project code.Location : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
