Description:

We are looking for Perl Software Engineer who will be responsible for developing applications and writing code using Perl programming language. You will design, develop, test and debug computer programs and process data, convert databases, and provide recommendations and technical support to their clients. As a Perl developer, you use this language to write shell scripts, implement database-related code, test applications, and debug code to fix errors. Responsibilities :- Build, modify, and/or refactor functional components of code within major applications- Organize, translate, and merge code from different scripting and programming sources- Perform unit and regression testing of code for major development releases- Debug and trace down defects within existing applications- Perform production code deployments on a regularly scheduled basisRequirements :- Minimum 4 years of experience is required.- Ability to build UNIX shell scripts and Perl scripts.- Expert in the following computer languages and scripting/markup : HTML5, XML, Javascript, idealy expert in, but at minimum some experience in Perl development.- Expert in API/Web Services development- Expert experience with MySQL databases- Fluency in conversational English when interacting with native English speakers- Ability to work in an Agile-like development environment- Must have knowledge of Spring Framework, PostgreSQL, Perl scripting, Java, shell scripts, - Location : Pan India- Immediate joiner are welcome (ref:hirist.tech)
