Description:
Position Overview :We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Cloud Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers in Migrate To Cloud (M2C) activities, provide technical guidance and mentorship, evaluate existing infrastructure for cloud migration, and stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends. If you have a passion for cloud computing and a track record of successful cloud migration projects, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities :- Lead a team of engineers in planning and executing cloud migration projects.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.- Evaluate existing infrastructure and applications for suitability for cloud migration.- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.- Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and trends to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and embrace DevOps practices.- Write and maintain scripts and automation tools using languages such as Python, Java, .NET, PowerShell, and Bash.Requirements :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.- 10+ years of experience in technical leadership with a focus on cloud computing.- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud.- Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Chef.- PCA Google certification is preferred.- Proven experience in managing end-to-end cloud migration projects.- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Java, .NET, PowerShell, and Bash.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools and DevOps practices.- Excellent communication and leadership skills.Preferred Qualifications :- An architectural mindset with the ability to design scalable and reliable cloud solutions.- Expertise in Google Cloud services.- Experience handling large applications, data, storage, and serverless ecosystems.
