Skill sets required 5+ years of experience in Data EngineeringExpertise in AWS cloud - and AWS cloud services like Athena,S3,EMR/Spark, Redshift,Glue, glue data brew,RDS,DMS. - Is a MUSTWork Model - WFO - M - F - 2 saturdays half day (santacruz kalina)Technical Experience: - A proven track record of 5+years of hands-on working experience as a Lead Data Engineer. - Must have worked on cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) with hands-on experience on Datalake, Data Warehouse and Data Migration related platforms, tools and frameworks. - Should have good experience in data modelling, data structures (e.g., relational and non-relational data), databases, and ETL/ELT processes and an in-depth understanding of large-scale data sets including both structured and unstructured data. - Should have experience developing and delivering scalable data solutions and pipelines on the cloud platforms and on-prem Data platforms. - Should have experience with AWS services such as Cloud Formation, S3, Athena, Glue, Glue Data Brew, EMR/Spark, RDS, Redshift, Data Sync, DMS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, SM, Event Bridge, EC2, SQS, SNS, Lake Formation, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail - Should be Strong in SQL & Python and Big Data tools such as Spark, Kafka, Scala, etc. - Should have Hands-on experience in development, deployment, and operation of integration technologies (e.g., APIs) and - Proficiency with data warehouses - AWS Redshift - Experience with DevOps, Git, CI/CD Tools and processes.Key Responsibilities: - Should be able to understand the functional requirements from the business & able to translate them to technical requirements. - Develop and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and EMR job to bring the data from different data sources. - Prepare Technical design documents and build and unit test them with high quality standards. - Delivery of key migrations from pre-prod environments to the PROD environment - Work closely with project teams to bring the right data into Datalake and Warehouse for Advanced analytics, BI Dashboards/Reports - Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, deliver onto ad-hoc requests, documenting and providing the best solution to the problem.Secondary Skills:- Agile process knowledge will be an added advantage.- Good Communication- Strong Team player - with ability to work across cross functional groups (ref:hirist.tech)
