VP/Head - IT Infrastructure (15-20 yrs) Bangalore (DevOps)

Your top priorities will include:1. Strategic Planning:- As a member of the senior management team, make a key contribution to the formulation of the company's business and digital strategies.- Develop and implement strategic plans for the company's IT infrastructure to support business objectives and future growth. - Help determine capital investment parameters, priorities, and risks for enterprise-wide IT initiatives to maximize the return on investment.2. Leadership:- Develop a Technology vision, strategy, and a roadmap, and lead the Technology team and its business partners in effective execution. - Ensure, on an ongoing basis, that current and planned technical architecture, investments and solutions are aligned with Organization goal.- Develop and execute an analytics program that will allow company business leaders to make data based decisions. - Prepare and monitor IT operational budgets that meet prevailing objectives and constraints. - Build strong relationships with business groups and their leaders across the enterprise, and develop a detailed understanding of their issues, challenges and opportunities.- Ensure transparency and collaboration between the Technology organization and its business partners.3. Infrastructure Design and Implementation: - Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and data centers, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.4. Security and Compliance: - Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the company's IT systems and data from internal and external threats. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.5. Vendor Management: - Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts, overseeing service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon standards and requirements.6. Budget Management: - Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost- effective solutions that align with business priorities.7. Risk Management:- Identify potential risks to the company's IT infrastructure and develop strategies to mitigate them, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.8. Technology Evaluation: - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company's IT infrastructure and recommending adoption where appropriate.9. Collaboration: - Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to align IT infrastructure initiatives with overall business objectives and priorities.10. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IT infrastructure team and regularly monitor and report on performance against these metrics to senior management.11. Transformation: - Demonstrated experience driving digital transformation and business growth through innovation and the implementation of technology. - Possesses solid knowledge in emerging technologies, and the ability to apply these in the service of the company's key business goals.12. IT Operations:- Direct the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the computing infrastructure that supports the company's operations and business applications.- Establish metrics for managing IT effectiveness and for measuring the impact of IT on the business. Establish appropriate service levels and the processes to ensure that KPIs are met.- Maintain oversight of all Technology projects, ensuring that commitments are properly planned, staffed, monitored, and reported.- Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan. Establish and enforce IT policies and processes.- Establish a comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of relevant data.13. Team development:- Hire, develop, evaluate, reward, and retain a highly qualified team of IT professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and accountability in IT. Promote a - business-first- mentality at all levels of the IT organization. - Ensure that the organization has strong systems analysis and project management skills, and the ability to execute business-critical projects.- Develop and maintain a plan that provides for succession and continuity in the most critical IT management positions.To excel at this role, Furthermore, you'll need:- 15+ years of career experience in technology, including a minimum of 7+ years in a leadership position.- Bachelor's degree/master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.- Strong technical expertise in networking, server administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans for IT infrastructure.- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCIE, ITIL) are a plus.
