Key Responsibilities : Software Development : - Develop and maintain software systems for the Industrial Automation domain using VC++ and COM development with C#.- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.Industrial Protocols : - Work with various industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, EIP, and HART.- Ensure seamless integration and communication between different industrial devices and systems.Unit Testing and Debugging : - Develop and execute automation unit tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of software solutions.- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing effective solutions to ensure system stability and performance.Collaboration and Documentation : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software products.- Document software design, coding, and testing processes for future reference and compliance purposes.Experience : - 7-10 years of experience in the engineering domain, specifically in software system development for the Industrial Automation domain.- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in VC++ development and COM development with C#.- 2-3 years of experience working with industrial protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, EIP, and HART.Skills : - Strong proficiency in VC++ and C# programming languages.- Extensive experience with COM development.- Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols.- Excellent automation unit testing skills and experience in debugging and troubleshooting software systems.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Personal Attributes : - Ability to work independently and within a team environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality software development.- Proactive and able to adapt to new challenges and technologies.Location : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
