Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to resolve them. Monitoring and Analysis : Implement and utilize monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry and Grafana to track system performance. Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to improve system performance. Kafka Expertise : Work with Kafka to test and optimize messaging and streaming performance. Ensure efficient data flow and processing within the Kafka environment. CI/CD Integration : Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous performance validation. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate performance testing processes. Collaboration and Reporting : Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand performance requirements and deliver effective solutions. Communicate performance test results and recommendations to stakeholders. Qualifications : Experience : Proven experience in performance testing, with hands-on experience using Locust and Python. Experience with monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry and Grafana. Proficiency in working with Kafka for messaging and streaming performance. Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Skills : Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools. Proficiency in Locust and Python for developing performance tests. Knowledge of monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry and Grafana. Experience with Kafka for performance testing of messaging systems. Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools. Personal Attributes : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
