We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Vertica DBA and experience with cloud-based databases. This role requires hands-on experience in cluster management, database tuning, and performance optimization, as well as the ability to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.Responsibilities : - Manage a minimum of 3 nodes cluster.- Handle node, cluster, and workload management.- Install, integrate, and configure databases on Linux, AWS, or other cloud services.- Develop shell scripts and SQL for database monitoring and automation.- Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems to ensure high availability and performance.- Conduct database tuning and performance optimization to enhance system efficiency.- Create and maintain automation scripts using Shell/PL/SQL.Experience :- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Vertica DBA.- Minimum 1+ years of experience with any cloud service database, such as Redshift or BigQuery.- Hands-on experience with Vertica EON Mode.- Mandatory experience in providing 24/7 support.- Expertise in database tuning and performance optimization.- Proficient in scripting with Shell/PL/SQL.- Extensive experience with Unix/Linux OS.Preferred Skills : - Experience with AWS and big data systems.
