Summary:KOOE Private Limited seeks a highly skilled Senior Biometrics Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead the development of cutting-edge fingerprint recognition software. This role involves creating software that captures fingerprint data, generates visual representations of fingerprints, and enables accurate image-based matching. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in image processing, biometrics, and software development.Responsibilities:- Fingerprint Capture and Processing: Interface with fingerprint scanners (optical, capacitive, ultrasonic) to capture raw fingerprint data.- Implement algorithms for data preprocessing, cleaning, and normalization.- Develop robust feature extraction techniques (minutiae extraction, ridge following) to identify key fingerprint characteristics.- Visual Fingerprint Image Generation: Design and implement algorithms to generate high-quality visual representations of fingerprints (grayscale, binary, or 3D).- Optimize image generation for accuracy, detail, and storage efficiency.- Image-Based Fingerprint Matching: Develop and implement algorithms for image-based fingerprint matching, utilizing techniques like minutiae-based or pattern-based matching.- Ensure accurate and reliable matching performance across various fingerprint types and conditions.- Software Development and Integration: Architect and develop the complete fingerprint recognition software solution.- Integrate the software with existing systems or platforms as required.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.- Security and Optimization: Implement robust security measures to protect fingerprint data and visual images (encryption, access control).- Optimize algorithms and code for speed, efficiency, and scalability.- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software accuracy and reliability.- Validate software performance against industry standards and benchmarks.Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on image processing and biometrics.- Technical Skills: Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), C++, or Java.- Image Processing: Extensive experience with OpenCV or similar libraries for image manipulation, analysis, and feature extraction.- Biometric Libraries: Familiarity with biometric libraries (e.g., SourceAFIS) for fingerprint processing and matching.- Fingerprint Scanners: Experience integrating and working with various types of fingerprint scanners.- Security: Knowledge of security best practices for handling biometric data.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with machine learning or deep learning techniques for fingerprint recognition.- Familiarity with liveness detection techniques to prevent spoofing attacks.- Experience with mobile app development for Android or iOS.
