About the Opportunity:We are seeking highly skilled and experienced AS400 Developers to join our team in Pune or Hyderabad. In this role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining critical applications used within the banking sector. Your in-depth knowledge of AS400 technologies combined with your understanding of banking processes will be essential for ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our systems.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, test, and implement robust and secure AS400 applications for banking operations.- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications for AS400 development.- Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to ensure applications meet specific needs.- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.- Troubleshoot and debug existing AS400 applications to resolve issues efficiently.- Maintain and update existing AS400 codebases to optimize performance and functionality.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AS400 technologies and banking industry trends.Qualifications:- 4-8 years of experience in AS400 development.- Strong understanding of COBOL/RPG programming languages.- Experience working with AS400 database systems (DB2 for i).- Solid knowledge of banking domain concepts, processes, and regulations.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- Immediate notice period is a plus.
