About the Opportunity :We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and performant PHP web applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices (e.g., PSR standards).- Utilize various PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) to accelerate development and ensure code reusability (a plus).- Develop and implement APIs to facilitate communication with other systems and applications.- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.- Troubleshoot and debug complex web application issues.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP, web development frameworks, and security best practices.- Contribute to the overall codebase architecture and design.- Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge (a plus).Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience in professional PHP development.- In-depth knowledge of PHP syntax, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).- Experience with a popular PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a strong plus.- Experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
