Description:
Position Title : Software Test and Automation Engineer (STAE-1)Reports To : Associate Manager - QALocation : BangaloreJob Description : - Responsible to attend requirement discussions and do the test case review- Responsible to prepare the test plan and Testcases- Responsible to automate the current sprint features- Should be able to perform manual test for features not planned to Automate- Follow the Sprint dev ops model and deliver the features on time- Maintain the existing Automation suites and enhance them when required- Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects and product team to solve complex problems- Analyze and find the root cause of production issues and validating the fix- Escalate the exceptions on time and try to resolve them on priorityRequirements : - API Automation Skills using tools like Karate or Rest Assured- Working knowledge on programming language preferably Java.- Strong understanding of test methodologies, testing concepts and Software development life cycle- Excellent debugging and communication skills- Hands on experience in working on any one of the webservers like Tomcat/Jboss and Apache HTTP - Working knowledge in RDBMS like MySQL /Oracle and NoSQL database like Mongo DB - Working knowledge on Linux environment / operating system- Experience in working in agile environment Qualifications : - BE/BTech/MSc/MCA- 1 to 3 years of relevant industry experience (ref:hirist.tech)
