Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Sr. PHP Full-Stack Developer to join our SRE team. In this unique role, you will leverage your expertise in both PHP development and automation principles to design, develop, and implement custom tools and scripts that automate critical SRE tasks. You will work closely with SRE engineers and other developers to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability within our infrastructure.Responsibilities :Backend Development :- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end applications using PHP and a relevant framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices.- Collaborate with SRE engineers to understand infrastructure & application requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.Automation Expertise :- Develop and implement automated scripts and tools using Python, Bash scripting, or other scripting languages to automate repetitive SRE tasks (e.g., provisioning, configuration management, monitoring).- Integrate automation tools with existing infrastructure and monitoring systems.- Utilize APIs to interact with cloud platforms and other services.Full-Stack Development :- Possess a strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (bonus points for experience with a front-end framework like React or Vue.js).- Develop user interfaces for internal tools and dashboards to provide SRE engineers with intuitive interfaces to interact with automated functionalities.Collaboration and Communication :- Work closely with SRE engineers and other developers to understand needs, gather requirements, and design effective solutions.- Clearly document code and automation workflows for maintainability and knowledge sharing.- Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.Continuous Improvement :- Proactively identify opportunities for further automation within SRE processes.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in PHP development, automation tools, and SRE best practices.Qualifications :- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a PHP developer with a strong understanding of PHP syntax, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and best practices.- Proven experience in developing and maintaining web applications using a reputable PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).- Experience with database technologies like MySQL or PostgreSQL.- Solid understanding of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation purposes.- Familiarity with APIs and experience integrating them into applications.- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Effective communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Passion for learning and staying current with the latest technologies.- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (preferred).
