About the Opportunity :Optimal Virtual Employee is seeking a highly skilled Senior Unity Developer to join our growing team in Noida. In this exciting role, you will play a key role in developing engaging and high-quality games, leveraging your expertise in Unity, C#, and various game development technologies.Responsibilities :- Collaborate with designers and other team members to translate game concepts into functional and engaging gameplay mechanics.- Develop robust game logic and user interfaces using Unity and C#, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness.- Integrate various media assets (3D models, animations, sound effects) into the game using established pipelines.- Work closely with team members to establish efficient development processes and maintain a high-quality codebase.- Troubleshoot and debug complex game-related issues to ensure a smooth user experience.- Contribute to the development of multiplayer experiences (a plus).- Explore and potentially utilize emerging technologies like AR/VR in game development (a plus).Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 8+ years of professional experience in Unity development with a proven track record of success.- Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles.- Experience with various game development concepts, including level design, procedural generation, and particle systems.- Familiarity with networking technologies for multiplayer game development (a plus).- Experience with shader programming languages like GLSL or HLSL (a plus).- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- A strong passion for gaming and a deep understanding of current gaming trends.
