About the Role :This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a passionate VMware professional to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our virtualized environments. You will leverage your expertise in troubleshooting, server administration, and infrastructure management to provide exceptional technical support and maintain a robust VMware ecosystem.Responsibilities :- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to VMware vSphere products and technologies.- Manage and maintain VMware vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual machines.- Perform ongoing optimization of VMware environments for peak performance and resource utilization.- Implement and configure VMware solutions based on best practices and business requirements.- Provide technical support to internal users and stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of their queries.- Monitor system health and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime.- Document procedures and maintain accurate records of configurations and changes.- Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and advancements.Qualifications :- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in VMware administration.- Proven experience in troubleshooting, server administration, and infrastructure management.- In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere products, including vCenter Server, ESXi, and virtual machines.- Strong understanding of operating systems, preferably including Windows and Linux.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.- A strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.Preferred Qualifications :- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification or equivalent experience.- Experience with scripting languages (e.g , PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.- Knowledge of network technologies and storage solutions.
