Job Description- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior OpenStack Cloud Administrator to join our growing team.- In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and security of our OpenStack cloud infrastructure.- Your expertise in OpenStack administration, combined with your strong problem-solving and analytical skills, will be essential for delivering a reliable and high-performing cloud platform for our internal users.Responsibilities :- Design, deploy, configure, and manage OpenStack cloud infrastructure across various components (Compute: Nova, Network: Neutron, Storage: Cinder, Swift, etc.).- Implement and maintain high availability (HA) configurations for critical OpenStack services.- Automate OpenStack deployments and configurations using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Heat.- Monitor and troubleshoot OpenStack cloud infrastructure performance and identify potential issues proactively.- Manage user access and quotas within the OpenStack environment using Keystone.- Implement and enforce security best practices within the OpenStack cloud.- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures for OpenStack environments.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in OpenStack technologies and best practices.- Provide ongoing support to internal users and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.- Document procedures and processes for OpenStack administration tasks.Qualifications :- 8-10 years of experience in cloud administration, with a strong focus on OpenStack.- In-depth knowledge of OpenStack architecture, core components, and functionalities.- Proven experience in deploying, configuring, and managing OpenStack clouds in production environments.- Experience with OpenStack APIs and command-line tools (OpenStack CLI).- Experience with cloud orchestration tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Heat (a plus).- Experience with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) is a plus.- Strong understanding of networking concepts (VLANs, IP addressing, etc.).- Strong understanding of storage technologies (block storage, object storage).- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams.
