Lead Developer - Power BI (8-10 yrs) Remote (Analytics & Data Science)

Description:
Responsibilities :- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable BI requirements.- Design, develop, and implement robust and user-friendly reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI and Cognos.- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to prepare it for analysis.- Develop and maintain data models to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to BI best practices.- Conduct thorough testing of BI solutions to ensure functionality and performance.- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BI reports and dashboards.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BI tools and technologies (Power BI, Cognos, etc.).Qualifications :- 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development.- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and data governance principles.- Proficiency in Power BI and Cognos, including expertise in data visualization, report design, and development.- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.- Familiarity with ETL tools and processes is a plus.- Experience with data migration projects in a BI environment is a plus (but not mandatory).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
