We are committed to leveraging data science and analytics to drive innovation and achieve superior customer experiences.About the Role :In this leadership role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of data science and analytics at Credit Saison India. You will be responsible for building and leading a talented team of data scientists and analysts, developing and implementing a robust data strategy, and delivering impactful insights that drive business growth and profitability.Responsibilities :Leadership :- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts.- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the data science team.- Develop and implement a clear career development roadmap for your team members.Strategy & Vision :- Partner with business stakeholders across all departments to understand their needs and challenges.- Develop a comprehensive data science and analytics strategy aligned with the overall business goals.- Identify key business problems that can be addressed through data-driven solutions.Data Science & Analytics :- Lead the development and implementation of advanced data science models and algorithms.- Oversee the entire data science lifecycle, from data acquisition and cleaning to model development, deployment, and monitoring.- Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for analysis.- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for business leaders.Communication & Collaboration :- Effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e. g., product, marketing, risk) to integrate data-driven insights into business decisions.- Provide thought leadership and guidance on data science best practices.Technical Skills :- Strong understanding of data science concepts, methodologies, and tools (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, data visualization).- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R).- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.Qualifications :- Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (PhD is a plus).- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in data science or a related field.- Proven track record of leading and mentoring data science teams.- Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful business outcomes through data-driven solutions.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
