Key responsibilities :1. Develop and implement engineering strategies : - In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering strategies to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth within the company. - You will work closely with the executive team to ensure that the engineering department is aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the company.2. Lead and manage a team of engineers : - As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of talented engineers. - This will include providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve their full potential and deliver high-quality work.3. Drive product development : - You will play a critical role in driving product development within the company. - This will include overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of new products, as well as ensuring that our engineering department is at the forefront of innovation.4. Ensure compliance and quality : - As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering activities comply with applicable laws and regulations. - Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality and ensuring that our products meet the needs and expectations of our customers.5. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation : - You will be responsible for creating a collaborative and innovative work environment within the engineering department. - This will include promoting a culture of continuous learning, problem-solving, and creativity to drive the success of our engineering team.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred- Proven experience in a senior engineering role, preferably as a Director of Engineering- Strong leadership and management skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- A track record of driving innovation and success within an engineering department- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and technologies (ref:hirist.tech)
