Key Responsibilities :QA Program Management :- Lead and manage the QA program for the migration project, ensuring high-quality standards.- Develop and implement QA strategies, processes, and methodologies.- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and product management.Project Leadership :- Oversee the QA aspects of the migration from mainframe to Java application and on-premises to cloud technologies.- Ensure project timelines, quality objectives, and budget requirements are met.- Identify and mitigate project risks related to quality assurance.Team Management :- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and analysts.- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.- Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide professional development opportunities.Quality Assurance :- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the migration project.- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools where applicable.- Ensure thorough testing of all aspects of the migration, including functionality, performance, security, and data integrity.Stakeholder Management :- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and quality expectations.- Communicate QA progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.- Provide regular updates and reports on QA activities and project status.Continuous Improvement :- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA.- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies and tools.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA effectiveness and efficiency.Required Experience and Skills :Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.- A Master's degree is preferred.Experience :- Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a QA management or program management role.- Extensive experience in credit card payment processing.- Proven track record of managing large-scale migration projects, particularly from mainframe to Java applications and on-premises to cloud technologies.Technical Skills :- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.- Familiarity with cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).- Understanding of mainframe and Java application architectures.- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.Soft Skills :- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Preferred Qualifications :Certifications :- ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager or equivalent certification.- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).Additional Experience :- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.- Background in financial services or a related industry.
