Job Overview :We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer with over 10 years of experience to join our development team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, experience with various PHP frameworks, and a proven track record of building scalable, high-performance web applications. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities :Application Development :- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.Framework Expertise :- Utilize PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter to build robust applications.- Implement MVC architecture and other design patterns.Database Management :- Design, develop, and optimize database schemas.- Write complex SQL queries and manage database performance.- Ensure data integrity and security.Code Review and Quality Assurance :- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.- Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices.- Debug and resolve application issues.Collaboration and Communication :- Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Performance Optimization :- Optimize application performance and scalability.- Monitor and improve application security.- Implement caching strategies and other performance-enhancing techniques.Documentation and Reporting :- Create and maintain technical documentation for application development and deployment.- Provide regular updates on project status and progress.- Required Experience and SkillsEducation :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience :- Minimum of 10 years of experience in PHP development.- Extensive experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.- Proven experience in developing and optimizing database schemas and writing complex SQL queries.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.- Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.- Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.- Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Preferred Qualifications :- Certifications :- Relevant PHP certifications (e.g., Zend Certified PHP Engineer).- Certifications in related technologies or frameworks.Additional Experience :- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.- Familiarity with microservices architecture.- Experience in e-commerce, content management systems (CMS), or similar domains.- - (ref:hirist.tech)
