Job Overview :We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant with extensive experience in SAP US Payroll configuration and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to the design and configuration of SAP US Payroll. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll processes, compliance reporting, and integration with other SAP modules. The consultant will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for US payroll, ensuring seamless payroll processing and compliance with legal requirements.Key Responsibilities :SAP Payroll Configuration :- Configure SAP US Payroll for both Gross and Net Payroll processes.- Configure Tax Reporter and integrate with BSI Tax Factory.- Manage third-party remittance and payroll catalog definitions, including collective bargaining agreement wage type definitions and configurations.- Define and process off-cycle payroll, levy management, garnishments, and integration with benefits and SAP FI.Life Cycle Implementation :- Lead and participate in 2-3 full life cycle implementations for SAP/EC US Payroll.- Serve as the SME for US payroll, providing expertise and guidance throughout the implementation process.Integration :- Integrate SAP Payroll with SAP Time Management, Benefits, and FI modules, as well as third-party FI systems.- Ensure seamless data flow and process integration across modules.Custom Operations and Rules :- Create and define custom operations and rules within the SAP Payroll system.- Implement and support year-end activities, open enrollment processes, and support packs.Testing and Quality Assurance :- Conduct parallel payroll testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.- Perform extensive compliance reporting for multiple countries.Communication and Support :- Provide excellent written and verbal communication to stakeholders.- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for payroll-related issues.- Willingness to work US hours shift to support US-based operations.Required Experience and Skills :Education :- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field.Experience :- Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in SAP HCM.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP US Payroll design and configuration.- Must have completed 2-3 full life cycle implementations for SAP/EC US Payroll.- Experience as an SME for US payroll.- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in parallel payroll testing.Technical Skills :- Expertise in SAP payroll configuration for Gross Payroll, Net Payroll, and Tax Reporter.- Proficiency with BSI Tax Factory and third-party remittance.- Strong knowledge of payroll catalog definitions, off-cycle payroll processing, levy management, and garnishments.- Experience with integration of SAP Payroll with Benefits, SAP FI, and third-party FI systems.- Experience in SAP Benefits Configuration and SAP Time Module.- Ability to create and define custom operations and rules.- Experience with year-end activities, open enrollment, and support packs.Compliance and Reporting :- Extensive experience in compliance reporting for multiple countries.- Strong understanding of legal requirements and regulatory compliance in payroll processing.
