Job Overview :We are seeking a skilled Web Developer with a strong background in Python and over 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining web applications, with a focus on back-end development using Python frameworks. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities :Web Application Development :- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and related frameworks.- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end applications.Framework Expertise :- Utilize Python frameworks such as Django or Flask to build robust web applications.- Implement MVC architecture and other design patterns.Database Management :- Design, develop, and optimize database schemas.- Write complex SQL queries and manage database performance.- Ensure data integrity and security.Code Review and Quality Assurance :- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.- Implement automated testing and continuous integration practices.- Debug and resolve application issues.Collaboration and Communication :- Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.Performance Optimization :- Optimize application performance and scalability.- Monitor and improve application security.- Implement caching strategies and other performance-enhancing techniques.Documentation and Reporting :- Create and maintain technical documentation for application development and deployment.- Provide regular updates on project status and progress.Required Experience and Skills :- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in web development with a focus on Python.- Extensive experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.- Proven experience in developing and optimizing database schemas and writing complex SQL queries.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in Python and related web frameworks.- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.- Familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.- Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Preferred Qualifications :- Certifications : Relevant Python certifications.- Certifications in related technologies or frameworks.Additional Experience :- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.- Familiarity with microservices architecture.- Experience in e-commerce, content management systems (CMS), or similar domains.- (ref:hirist.tech)
