Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and innovative Software Engineer with strong PHP expertise to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our high-performance web applications. In this role, you'll leverage your knowledge of database access layers and efficient query writing to build scalable and performant solutions.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and appropriate database technologies.- Implement new features based on user stories and technical specifications.- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix bugs in existing code.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.- Collaborate with other developers to ensure a consistent and efficient codebase.- Write unit tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.- Stay up-to-date with the latest PHP technologies and best practices.- Select and utilize appropriate database access layers for efficient data interaction.- Write optimized queries to ensure performance and scalability of data access.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum of 2 years of experience in professional PHP development (adjust X based on your needs).- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts in PHP.- Proficient in using appropriate database access layers for chosen database technology.- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- A passion for building high-quality and scalable web applications.Bonus Points :- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).- Experience with DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD, Git).- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).- Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
