Php Backend Developer 2 positionsExperience : 3-5 years Location : Mumbai (Should work from thane office) Note : We do not want php web developer or frontend developer. We need backend developers. We need candidates who can work with us from our office. No remote optionPosition Overview :We are looking for experienced PHP Backend Developers to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidates will manage back-end services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. These positions require working from our Thane office, with no remote work option available.Key Responsibilities :Backend Development :- Strong in core php using code ignitor- Good knowledge in creating JSON based API- Good knowledge of mysql database and good in query writing.- Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using the CodeIgniter framework.- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.API Development :- Design, create, and manage robust JSON-based APIs.- Ensure seamless integration of APIs with various systems and platforms.- Implement and maintain RESTful services for data exchange.Database Management :- Design and manage MySQL databases ensuring strong performance and reliability.- Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and management.- Perform routine database management tasks such as backups, indexing, and optimization.Performance Optimization :- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Implement caching mechanisms to enhance web application performance.- Monitor and improve application performance continuously.Security and Data Protection :- Implement security measures to protect data and applications.- Ensure applications are secure against threats such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.- Maintain data privacy and integrity.Code Review and Maintenance :- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.- Maintain and refactor existing code to ensure best practices and optimize performance.- Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in PHP development.Documentation :- Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs and databases.- Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.Project Collaboration :- Work closely with project managers, front-end developers, and other team members.- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.- Gather and address technical and design requirements.Technical Support : - Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to back-end systems.- Work on continuous improvement and upgrading of backend services.- Assist in the development and deployment of new features.Key Qualifications :Technical Skills :- Strong proficiency in Core PHP and experience with the CodeIgniter framework.- Good knowledge of MySQL database management and strong skills in query writing.- Experience in creating and managing JSON-based APIs.- Understanding of front-end technologies for integration purposes.- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Soft Skills :- Strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.Experience and Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in backend development with PHP.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience with other PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.- Familiarity with RESTful services and MVC design patterns.- Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.- Understanding of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Working Conditions :Work Environment :- This position requires working from our Thane office, with no remote work option available.- The work environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and requires flexibility to meet project deadlines.Tools and Equipment :Use of standard office equipment such as computers, laptops, and software tools related to PHP backend development.Join us and be a part of a team that values technical excellence and innovation.
