Description:
Position Overview :We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer (L2) with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team at Delhi Airport. The ideal candidate will be proficient in routing, switching, and firewall technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of network infrastructure and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues effectively.Responsibilities :- Provide L2 support for routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure at Delhi Airport.- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls.- Collaborate with the L1 support team to resolve escalated network issues in a timely manner.- Perform network upgrades and patch management as required.- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation of all network devices.- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours as needed.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on routing, switching, and firewall technologies.- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, STP, and other networking protocols.- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking hardware.- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting firewall solutions (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.- Effective communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent are a plus.
