Description:
Profile : QA Engineer. Experience : 6+ years (Minimum 3 yrs in Automation mandatory). Location : Bangalore (White Field), Hyderabad (Vittal Rao Nagar, Madhapur). Employment Type : Contract. Duration : 6+ months. Job Description : - Develop and implement automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java.- Design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of mobile applications across various platforms.- Collaborate with the development and QA teams to identify and resolve software defects and inconsistencies.- Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address potential issues before product releases.- Perform in-depth analysis of test results and provide comprehensive reports to the relevant stakeholders. -Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile automation testing.Must Have Skills : - 6+ years total experience with at least 3+ yrs of automation experience involved in design and development of Test Automation scripts using Appium and Java.- Experience with other frameworks like Espresso, Cypress will be an added advantage.- Strong proficiency in Java programming with a focus on writing efficient, clean, and well-documented code.- Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies. -Familiarity with testing Android and iOS applications across multiple devices and platforms.- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate complex technical issues.- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Prior experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks is a plus.- Effective verbal and written communication skills.- Good to Have Skills : Hands on with any IDE e.g. VSCode.- Good understanding of Agile methodology.- Exposure to CI/CD/DevOps practices would be an added advantage.Qualification : BE/ B.
