Description:
Job Description :- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Android Engineer to join our growing mobile development team.- You will play a key role in the entire development lifecycle, from designing and building high-performance, user-friendly Android applications to leading technical discussions and mentoring junior engineers.- You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of the Android platform, best practices, and modern development tools to create innovative and impactful mobile experiences for our users.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and implement complex and innovative features for our Android applications.- Optimize application performance and user experience for various Android devices and API levels.- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to translate user stories and API specifications into well-structured Android code.- Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the Android ecosystem, including new APIs, libraries, and frameworks (Jetpack, Kotlin Coroutines, etc.- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of code quality.- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability and functionality.- Troubleshoot complex bugs and identify root causes of application issues.- Prepare technical documentation for developed features and functionalities.Qualifications :- 6-10 years of experience as a Senior Android Engineer or a similar role.- In-depth knowledge of the Android platform, SDK, and development tools (Android Studio, Kotlin).- Strong understanding of Android architecture principles (MVC, MVP, MVVM).- Experience with designing efficient user interfaces (UI) and user interactions (UX) for mobile applications.- Experience with asynchronous programming techniques (threads, coroutines) and performance optimization strategies.- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing tools (Espresso).- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Experience with integrating with various APIs and backend services.- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.Educational qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's (ref:hirist.tech)
