Description:
Roles & Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and microservices using .NET and Azure technologies. - Utilize Azure Service Fabric for building, deploying, and managing microservices at scale. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Implement and optimize data storage solutions using Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Search, and Azure Postgres. - Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of backend services in a cloud-based environment. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate frontend components with backend services seamlessly. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing. - Stay abreast of industry best practices, Azure updates, and emerging technologies to continually enhance backend development processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, conduct performance tuning, and optimize code for efficiency. - Mentor junior developers and actively participate in knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team. Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience (5+ years) as a Backend Developer, with a focus on .NET and Azure. - Strong proficiency in building APIs (OpenAPI Spec) and microservices using .NET technologies. - Experience in developing, managing, and monitoring WebAPIs on Azure App Services. - Experience with Azure Service Fabric and Azure Service Bus for pub/sub microservices architecture. - Good working knowledge of Domain Driven Design and CQRS/ES architecture since this is applied across the entire backend. - Knowledge and/or experience of containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes/Azure Container Apps) a plus. - Deep working knowledge and proven experience in Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Cognitive Search, and Azure PostgreSQL/SQLDB, Azure Redis Cache, and Azure Storage for data storage solutions. - Experience in working with Azure KeyVault for secrets management, Azure Cognitive Services for computer vision and video indexing is a plus. - Previous experience in working with open-source media tools such as Imagemagick, ffmpeg, Exiftool, etc. is a plus. - Knowledge of Azure API Management for the Developer Portal and API Gateway is a plus. - Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and deployment on Azure. - Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment best practices. - Strong database design and optimization skills for both SQL and NoSQL technologies. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
