About the Role:We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of our ecommerce platform. You will leverage your expertise in automation frameworks and testing methodologies to create robust test suites that cover all aspects of the user experience, from web applications to mobile apps and APIs.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and other relevant frameworks.- Conduct API testing using tools like Rest Assured to validate the functionality and performance of backend services.- Automate mobile application testing for various platforms (Android/iOS) using appropriate frameworks.- Possess a deep understanding of ecommerce functionalities and user journeys.- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development process.- Identify and report bugs effectively, working with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools and best practices.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum 4 years of experience working as a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on ecommerce applications.- In-depth knowledge of Java programming language and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web application automation testing.- Experience with API testing tools like Rest Assured for backend service validation.- Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks for Android and/or iOS testing (a plus).- Strong understanding of ecommerce functionalities and testing considerations for online stores.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
