Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Lead to join our team and lead the development of animation games for educational purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in game development, expertise in animation technologies, and a passion for creating impactful learning experiences for children, especially those with autism.Responsibilities:Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the game development team, including developers, designers, and animators.Game Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of interactive animation games tailored for children with autism, ensuring they meet educational objectives and are engaging and accessible.Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for game development, ensuring they align with project requirements and budget constraints.Prototyping and Testing: Collaborate with the team to prototype game concepts, conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to improve user experience and learning outcomes.Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards for game development, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.Documentation: Create technical documentation, including game design documents, development plans, and post-mortem reports, to capture and share knowledge and best practices.Team Management: Mentor and coach team members, foster a collaborative and innovative environment, and promote continuous learning and skill development.Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to plan and prioritize tasks, track progress, manage resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality games.Qualifications:- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Game Development, or a related field.- Proven experience (4-8 years) in game development, with a focus on animation and interactive media.- Strong proficiency in game engines such as Unity, ThreeJS as well as animation tools like Blender, Maya, or equivalent.- Expertise in programming languages such as C#, C++, or JavaScript, and familiarity with scripting languages for game development.- Knowledge of UX/UI principles, accessibility standards, and gamification techniques.- Experience working on educational or serious games projects, especially for children or individuals with special needs, is highly desirable.- Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a passion for leveraging technology for positive social impact.- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative and results-oriented mindset.Notice Period: Immediate Joiners will be preferredWork Location: Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
