About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and play a key role in our data-driven decision making. You will leverage your expertise in big data analytics, cloud technologies, and data visualization to extract valuable insights from complex datasets and translate them into clear, actionable information for stakeholders across the organization.Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using Databricks (Spark SQL and PySpark) to process and transform big data for analysis.- Utilize cloud data platforms like Snowflake and DBT (preferred) to manage and store large datasets efficiently.- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality.- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing to ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline.- Develop and maintain analytical models using various techniques (regression, cohort, cluster, time series, etc.) to identify trends and patterns.- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using industry-standard BI tools to communicate insights effectively.- Work within Agile methodologies (Jira preferred) and utilize CI/CD practices (Gitlab or Github preferred) to version control and automate data analysis workflows.- Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and inform strategic decision making.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.- Extensive experience working with big data technologies, particularly Databricks (Spark SQL and PySpark).- Proficiency in cloud data platforms like Snowflake (preferred) and DBT (preferred) for data storage and management.- Strong understanding of data management principles, data quality practices, and ETL processes.- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data querying and retrieval.- Expertise in various data analysis techniques (regression, cohort, cluster, time series, etc.) and ability to apply them to real-world problems.- Excellent communication and presentation skills to present complex data findings to diverse audiences.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments.- Experience with Agile methodologies (Jira preferred) and CI/CD practices (Gitlab or Github preferred) is a plus.
