About the Role:We are seeking a talented IAM Data Scientist to join our team and play a key role in optimizing our IAM systems through data analysis and automation. You will leverage your knowledge of data science principles and IAM concepts to extract valuable insights from security data, identify potential risks, and develop data-driven solutions for access control.Responsibilities:- Utilize SQL or PostgreSQL to manage and analyze data related to IAM systems and user activity.- Extract and transform data from Splunk using APIs to automate data flow into designated databases.- Develop and implement data analysis pipelines using Python and potentially Django web frameworks.- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risks associated with user access and permissions.- Collaborate with security engineers and IAM specialists to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for access control policies and procedures.- Document technical processes and procedures related to data analysis and IAM best practices.- Champion the development and implementation of company-wide best practices for IAM based on data-driven insights.- Effectively prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Communicate data analysis findings and security recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.Qualifications:- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum 4 years of experience working as a data scientist or in a related analytical role.- Strong understanding of data analysis principles, statistical methods, and data visualization techniques.- Proficiency in SQL or PostgreSQL for database management and querying.- Experience with Splunk for security data analysis and familiarity with relevant APIs for data extraction.- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and scripting (experience with Django is a plus).- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for effective collaboration in a multinational team environment.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a complex and decentralized environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security and data privacy.- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
