Role Description :The Corporate Bank Global Cash, Surveillance and Messaging Operations Risk & Control Team is responsible for supporting Operations with first line operational risk management across Operations. This will include the remediation of two bank wide Critical Findings.Group Audit and Second Line liaision for nearly hundred reviews per year and pro-active preparation of these audits to ensure any risks are identified upfront and raised via Self-Identified Issues. Identify opportunities to reduce risk of the overall function and actively communicate to and contribute to change programs.Good understanding of front to back processes, ideally in payments and securities.Instill a control mind set across the organization, ensuring that control focus is prominent and proactively question and challenge Operations to identify areas of potential weakness. Establish and maintain strong relationships with Operations teams and its management to build an effective partnership to reduce operational risks across the organization.Your skills and experience :Strong finding management and operational risk management expertise with an exposure to control practices and audits2nd line or 3rd line/ Audit experience preferredGood understanding of front to back processes and applications, ideally in payments and securitiesStrong analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organizational and interpersonal skills, and innovative mind-setAbility to remain objective and to independently raise areas of operational risk exposure, while maintaining an effective working relationship with the line and other areas within DBHow we'll support you :Training and development to help you excel in your careerCoaching and support from experts in your teamA culture of continuous learning to aid progressionA range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs (ref:hirist.tech)
