Key Responsibilities : ServiceNow and Asset Management : - Utilize thorough knowledge and experience with ServiceNow or similar asset management systems to manage IT assets effectively.- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and ensure compliance with organizational policies.Operating System and Software Management : - Expertly manage and support Windows OS and O365 Office products.- Provide software support and troubleshooting for various applications used within the organization.Customer Service and Communication : - Deliver excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with users.- Resolve technical issues with users over the phone, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.Hardware Support : - Provide comprehensive support for hardware, including desktops, printers, scanners, and video equipment.- Transport and lift boxes/equipment as needed, adhering to safety guidelines.Imaging Workstations : - Utilize MDT and/or SCCM for imaging workstations.- Ensure workstations are configured and deployed according to organizational standards.Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving : - Apply excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.- Think and act under pressure to address urgent technical problems.VPN and Network Setup : - Set up, support, and install VPNs to ensure secure remote access for users.- Manage wireless workstation setup and support, ensuring reliable network connectivity.Active Directory Management : - Use and manage Active Directory privileges to maintain user access and security.- Support user account creation, modification, and deactivation processes.Organizational Skills and Professionalism : - Maintain good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.- Demonstrate excellent etiquette and professionalism in all interactions.Required Qualifications : Experience : - 7 to 9 years of experience as a System Specialist or in a similar role.- Proven track record in managing IT systems and providing technical support.Technical Skills : - Thorough knowledge and use of ServiceNow or similar asset management systems.- Expert knowledge of Windows OS and O365 Office products.- Knowledge of hardware, including desktops, printers, scanners, and video equipment.- Proficiency in imaging workstations using MDT and/or SCCM.- Strong understanding of software support and troubleshooting.- Knowledge of VPN setup, support, and installation.- Familiarity with Active Directory use and privileges.- Ability to set up and support wireless workstations.Soft Skills : - Excellent customer service awareness and communication skills.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Good organizational skills.- Ability to think and act under pressure.- Excellent etiquette and professionalism.Physical Requirements : Ability to transport and lift boxes/equipment as needed.
