Description:

Job Description: Senior Data Protection Engineer with extensive experience in managing and maintaining data protection platforms such as Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security, availability, and integrity of critical data assets within the organization.Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain data protection platforms including Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA to uphold data security best practices.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess data protection requirements and implement effective solutions.- Monitor performance and availability of data protection systems using tools like New Relic to proactively address issues.- Develop and maintain scripts using Python for automation tasks related to data protection processes.- Utilize Ansible AWX for configuration management and automation of routine tasks.- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide timely support for any critical incidents.Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).- Extensive experience managing Rubrik, Cohesity, Oracle ZFS, and ZDLRA data protection platforms in enterprise environments.- Relevant certifications in data protection technologies are preferred.- Proficiency in performance monitoring tools like New Relic for ensuring system efficiency.- Strong scripting skills in Python for automation of data protection processes.- Experience with Ansible AWX for configuration management tasks.
