Job Description :We are seeking a motivated and experienced network engineer to join our team and play a vital role in managing and optimizing our large enterprise network infrastructure. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of network routing, switching, security, and cloud technologies to ensure a reliable, secure, and high-performance network environment.Responsibilities :Network Design & Implementation :- Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure for large enterprises.- Configure and manage Cisco switching platforms (3850, 6500, 6800, Nexus 7K, and 5K) for VLANs, VTP, and HSRP.- Implement and manage routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Static, PBR) for efficient network traffic flow.Network Security :- Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama for network security and access control.- Implement NAT/PAT rules and define access rules to ensure network security and compliance.- Monitor and troubleshoot security incidents to identify and resolve potential threats.Cloud Network Technologies :- Design and implement network solutions for cloud environments (Azure & AWS).- Maintain a strong understanding of cloud network services and functionalities.Network Automation & Monitoring :- Participate in network automation initiatives using scripting languages or automation tools.- Utilize network monitoring solutions (CA, Net Scout, Spectrum, etc.) to analyze network performance, identify issues, and ensure network health.- Analyze logs and traffic patterns to identify potential problems and optimize network performance.Additional Responsibilities :- Support network planning, design, and engineering for clients.- Prepare root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and manage client escalations.- Maintain accurate technical documentation and adhere to internal network security policies.- Participate in implementing new network tools and technologies for continuous improvement.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- 6-8 years of experience in managing and supporting large enterprise networks.- Proven experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies (Cisco 3850, 6500, 6800, Nexus 7K and 5K).- Palo Alto Certified Network Security Firewall (PAN-OS) certification or CCNP certification (highly preferred).- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.- Experience with cloud network technologies (Azure & AWS) a plus.- Working knowledge of network monitoring tools (CA, Net Scout, Spectrum, etc.).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
