Job Description :We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our corporate network infrastructure. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of networking protocols, Cisco technologies, and security best practices to ensure a reliable, secure, and efficient network environment.Responsibilities :Network Design & Configuration :- Configure and manage Cisco routers and switches for optimal performance and security.- Implement routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) to ensure efficient routing of data traffic across the network.- Design and configure secure routing configurations for data transmission.Network Security Management :- Configure and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate) to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.- Implement and maintain VPN connections (IPsec, SSL) to provide secure remote access for authorized users.- Manage Quality of Service (QoS) to prioritize network traffic based on business needs and ensure optimal application performance.- Implement network load balancing to distribute traffic across multiple network devices for optimal performance and scalability.Documentation & Best Practices :- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.- Demonstrate a strong understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and adhere to incident response best practices.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting routers and firewalls in a corporate network environment.- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), subnetting, and routing concepts.- Proven experience with Cisco router and switch configuration and management.- Experience with configuring and maintaining firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate) a plus.- Ability to configure and manage VPN connections (IPsec, SSL).- Knowledge of Quality of Service (QoS) and network load balancing principles.- Excellent documentation and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and incident response procedures a plus.Professional Certifications (preferred) :- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)- CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or equivalent certification.
