We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jira Administrator to join our growing IT team. You will play a critical role in managing, configuring, and optimizing our Jira instance to support efficient project management and team collaboration across the organization. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Jira functionalities, best practices, and integrations to ensure the platform is tailored to our specific needs and workflows.Responsibilities : - Manage the Jira instance on a daily basis, ensuring optimal performance, uptime, and security.- Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, and issue types to align with various project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Kanban).- Create and maintain user accounts, groups, and permission schemes to manage access control and data security within Jira.- Develop and implement custom workflows using Jira Script Runner or other scripting languages for automation of repetitive tasks.- Configure and manage custom fields, screens, and layouts to capture project-specific data and improve data organization.- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Jira reporting features (JQL) to provide valuable insights into project progress and team performance.- Integrate Jira with other enterprise applications (e.g. Confluence, Git, CI/CD tools) to streamline project workflows and data flow.- Monitor and analyze Jira usage data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.- Provide ongoing support and training to users on Jira functionalities and best practices.- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Jira administration and Atlassian products.- Document Jira configurations, workflows, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future maintenance.- Collaborate with IT teams (development, operations) to ensure smooth integration of Jira with other systems.Qualifications : Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's- 4-7 years of experience as a Jira Administrator, Atlassian Administrator, or a similar IT support role focused on project management tools.- In-depth knowledge of Jira functionalities (projects, workflows, issue types, user management, permissions).- Experience with Jira administration tools and scripting languages (Jira Script Runner, Groovy) for workflow automation.- Experience with JQL (Jira Query Language) for creating reports and dashboards.- Experience with integrating Jira with other Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket) and potentially third-party applications. -Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
