VNB Consulting Services, an end to end IT Services and Solutions provider for Apps, Automation, Analytics & AI is looking for an AWS Architect for one of its client. This is a long term contract. Just be a EAD, GC or US Citizen.About the Role :We are seeking a hands-on Certified AWS Architect with the drive and expertise to design and build large scale complex applications for our cloud data platform. This role involves building high-traffic, data-intensive applications that are crucial for daily operations.- As a key member of team, you will take the helm in developing large-scale systems on AWS, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to deliver secure and scalable solutions.- Your deep knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestrators like AWS EKS will be fundamental in enhancing systems' performance and reliability.- You'll use your programming skills in languages such as Python or Go and your experience with configuration management tools to ensure the robustness and efficiency of services.- You will be in the thick of problem-solving challenges, drawing from your extensive experience to maintain the high availability of systems and ensure infrastructure's security and compliance.Responsibilities :- Architect and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions on AWS.- Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, to automate the provisioning and management of AWS services.- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for the deployment of applications.- Engage in system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.- Advise on architectural decisions and design to optimize for performance, cost, and scalability.- Maintain and improve existing infrastructure for high availability, system security, and regulatory compliance.- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure solutions align with company objectives.- Participate in on-call rotations and incident management.- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies, and apply that knowledge to current initiatives.Requirements :Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's/Master's- 8+ years of experience designing, operating, and supporting large-scale systems on AWS.- Proficiency in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.- Extensive experience building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.- Experience with containerization technologies and container orchestrators like Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS.- Knowledge of observability tools (like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, ELK stack, etc.) and monitoring best practices.- Experience operating infrastructure at scale with high-traffic web applications or big data applications.- Familiarity with microservice-based application architectures.- Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, EKS, Lambda, and CloudWatch.- Knowledge of programming languages like Python or Go.- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Packer, Vault, or Consul.- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent is required.- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems issues.- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
