Roles & Responsibilities : Escalation Management : - Serve as the elevated L3/L4 escalation contact for critical production issues, providing expert resolution and support to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.Change Management : - Adhere to change management protocols while executing service requests, ensuring all changes are systematically managed and compliant with organizational policies.Process Optimization : - Actively pursue avenues to optimize standard operating procedures by leveraging automation techniques, focusing on enhancing efficiency and reliability of cloud operations.Automation Solutions : - Implement automation solutions to streamline platform operations, enhancing overall efficiency and reliability.- Utilize tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and complex processes.Continuous Improvement : - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate cloud services for SAP Applications, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance.- Identify and implement best practices to improve service delivery.Team Collaboration : - Work closely with a diverse, multinational team to ensure the delivery of world-class cloud services tailored specifically for SAP Applications.- Collaborate with global enterprise clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions.Customer Experience & SLAs : - Participate in designing and implementing strategies to optimize the customer experience and meet service level agreements (SLAs).- Ensure high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.Networking & IT Security : - Proficiency in networking encompassing TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls.- Manage network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies.- Demonstrate expertise in IT security practices, particularly in OS hardening techniques.- Implement and manage security policies and controls using AWS services.AWS Services Proficiency : - Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Backup, Lambda, CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail, IAM, KMS, and CloudFormation.- Utilize these services to build and maintain robust cloud environments.SAP Systems Support : - Understand and support SAP systems on AWS, including cluster management, database management (HANA, Oracle), and high availability (HA) management.- Ensure SAP systems are optimized for performance and reliability on AWS.- Security Policies & Controls : - Implement security policies and controls (e.g. CIS, malware protection, anti-virus, secret management) using AWS services.- Ensure robust security measures are in place to protect cloud environments.Automation & Scripting : - Automate AWS service deployment using CloudFormation and/or Terraform.- Develop and maintain scripts using Python (Lambda), Bash Shell, and other scripting languages to automate tasks and processes.Documentation & Standards : - Strong ability to document standards, methods, and produce drawings of systems and applications.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation to support ongoing operations and future projects.AWS CLI & Configuration Management : - Strong skills with AWS CLI and a solid understanding of JSON/YAML for configuration and deployment tasks.- Deploy and manage configuration management tools such as Chef and Ansible to maintain consistent system configurations.Linux Administration : - Administer and manage Linux environments, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.Qualifications : - Any Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification is a must.- Strong proficiency in networking and IT security practices.- Hands-on experience with key AWS services and tools. - Deep understanding of supporting SAP systems on AWS.- Proven experience in implementing automation solutions.- Strong scripting skills and experience with configuration management tools.- Excellent documentation and communication skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with a multinational team.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage critical production issues.
