Role: Business Development Manager Location: Manesar, Gurugram Industry: Industrial Automation Position overview: A driven BDM with 3-5 years' experience in automation sales. You'll develop strategies, build relationships, and close deals to expand their client base. Experience with specific automation equipment (conveyors, inspection tools) is a plus. Company Overview: Client is a dynamic and innovative medium-sized firm specializing in cutting-edge solutions in Automation, Material Handling, and Robotics. With a robust portfolio encompassing conveyor systems, end-of-line automation, and state-of-the-art robotics, they cater to diverse industries, optimizing their operations for efficiency, productivity, and technological advancement. Responsibilities: Develop & execute sales plans to exceed targets in automation, material handling, and robotics. Identify & qualify leads, understand needs, and propose solutions. Build & maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor. Conduct product demos & presentations. Collaborate with internal teams for smooth project execution. Track industry trends & identify growth opportunities. Prepare & present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Provide regular sales reports & updates to management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business Administration, or related) + sales certifications (preferred). 3+ years of proven sales experience in automation, material handling, and related equipment. Strong understanding of automation & familiarity with specific equipment (conveyors, checkweighers, etc.) Track record of exceeding sales targets & maintaining high customer satisfaction. Excellent communication, negotiation, & presentation skills. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to finding new business opportunities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
