Role Overview:At MOURI Tech, the Site Reliability Engineer is essential for maintaining the high availability and robustness of our critical applications. Your role will focus on implementing cutting-edge SRE practices, including synthetic monitoring, chaos engineering, automated disaster recovery, and especially the development of observability dashboards using Grafana, Dynatrace, and other monitoring tools. This position requires a proactive approach to system reliability and a deep commitment to operational excellence.Responsibilities :- Design, build, and maintain advanced observability dashboards using Grafana, Dynatrace, and other relevant tools to monitor health, performance, and availability of applications.- Develop and sustain 24/7 high-availability strategies for our mission-critical applications, integrating robust SRE methodologies.- Create synthetic monitoring strategies to simulate user interactions and foresee system behaviors under different scenarios.- Implement automated disaster recovery scripts to ensure quick recovery and minimal downtime.- Lead and execute chaos engineering initiatives to identify and remedy potential system vulnerabilities.- Oversee and optimize application and infrastructure performance to meet strict operational requirements.- Collaborate closely with development teams to embed reliability and scalability into software development processes.- Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software deployments.- Utilize advanced analytics from Power BI and operational data from observability tools to make data-driven decisions.- Ensure rigorous security protocols are maintained across all platforms and systems, complying with industry standards.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.- Strong background in SRE or similar roles, with extensive experience in software engineering and systems management.- Proficient in the use of observability tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace for monitoring and dashboarding.- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft technologies (.Net, Azure), frontend technologies (ReactJS), and database systems (PostgreSQL, Snowflake).- Expertise in synthetic monitoring, chaos engineering, and automation of complex operational tasks.- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD methodologies, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices.- Ability to manage on-call duties and respond effectively to emergencies.Nice to Have :- Certifications in SRE, DevOps, or specific tools like Grafana or Dynatrace.- Previous experience with additional BI tools or cloud platforms.
